We've changed our club name, so I've changed the customdomainname (from jokemasters to standupandspeak), along with the masterpassword. However when I click "site administration" the login and password do not work, (neither the old one nor the new one), and clicking the "send" button doeis not email them to me. FHS site: standupandspeak.freetoasthost.org

Would be very grateful for your help.

Jim

Your site administration user and password work correctly for access to the site administration page ( I have just tested). The link is at the bottom center of every page. Make sure your email address will accept email from your site.

Thank you Brian for your prompt reply.

Unfortunately its still not working for me. I've checked my spam mail and know of no other reason why I would not recieve email.

I've clicked both "admin", and my name in the drop down box to have the password emailed. Actually both boxes, username and password go empty when I try to make the entries.

Is it possible its going to the wrong email address? mine is jim@eisa.com

1) They go empty because you are not putting in the correct password.

2) For the siteadmin user password you have set them to be the same.

3) If you are using a company email address check with your IT group if they are blocking at the main company mail server. the emails will have a "From" of your email address.

Sorry to have to bother you again.

1) I'm using the only passwords I'm aware of for this, the two I created for the two urls (the old Jokemasters and the new standupandspeak) Is it safe for me to tell you these two passwords here? If so, I'll do that.

2) What are "them"? The same as what?

3) I'm on a personal computer at home. Is it possible my IP is the culprit?

Jim

The site you gave me at the beginning of this thread was

http://standupandspeak.freetoasthost.org

The siteadmin user and password is standupandspeak

Got it! Problem solved. Thank you so very much, and I am sorry for taking up so much of your time.

Looks like I typed in that same word twice, for both username and password. Don't remember that at all. I must be getting senile.

Thanks again.
