Hello: My name is John C. Gallagher, President - Chautauqua Talks Toastmasters. We are a new club and are very pleased with the versatility of freetoasthost. However when communication with our members; most will receive multiple emails??

I have notice that another club was experiencing a similar problem that was termed a LOOP issue. Not being an IT person I an not familiar with nthis term.

Apparently this was corrected by deselecting the club officers as officers on the menber list. If this is the procedure, how do we identify the club officers? I am very confused!

1) Please reread the post you found, removing the officer tick would never be a solution.

2) I added myself and sent an email to both lists and only received one copy of each.

Are you referring to removing the star which identifes the member as being an officer?? If so how do I communicate with them using chautauquatalks-officers@freetoasthost.org??

1) I NEVER said to remove the ticks from the officers.

2) There is nothing wrong with your maillist I tested and they both work correctly.
