Q. What are some of the features of the duty roster?

  • schedule as many meetings ahead as you wish
  • members can sign up on-line for roles
  • VPED or Toastmaster can sign up any member for roles
  • e-mail members directly from on-line roster
  • easily sign yourself up or remove yourself from a role
  • print a roster with or without times for each roles
  • print out a sign-up spreadsheet for your upcoming meetings
  • instantly send the roster to the entire membership
  • modify the pre-written message for the rosters
  • customize a message to be sent each time you e-mail a roster
  • create meeting notes (any member)
  • save a role history of each meeting
  • VPED / Toastmaster can see how many times each member did any given role when assigning roles
  • Speakers are encouraged to enter their Speech Number, Speech Length, Manual, Objective, Title, and Introduction on-line.
  • on-line introductions can be printed by Toastmaster, admin, and speaker
  • add up to five custom roles
  • choose which roles to use and which not to use for your meetings
  • e-mail individual members directly from the roster
  • and much more

You can "modify the pre-written message for the rosters" on your admin page. Search for the string "Custom Roster Message". The role descriptions, however, are hardcoded, other than for your custom roles.
