A. For best results the pictures should be 200 pixels wide by 150 tall for best quality. That is the standard 4:3 ratio the images are landscape - WIDER than Tall.

A couple clarifications. First, any size should work so long as it's in that 4:3 ratio, i.e., 3/4 as tall as it is wide. One that's larger than 200x150 might waste storage space and transmission bandwidth, but it should still look OK. Second, re the subject line, this applies to any individual picture. If ***ALL*** the member pictures are distorted, then perhaps all of the pictures are the wrong aspect ratio, by some amazing coincidence. More likely, though, your monitor is distorted. :-)
